FAQ'S FROMAAA SPECTRUM CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANING INC. IN GETZVILLE, NY

We receive numerous questions about carpet, tile and upholstery cleaning, and the many services that we have to offer. Below you'll find our most frequently asked questions and their answers:
How long will I need to wait before I can walk on my cleaned carpet?
It depends on the kind of carpet that was cleaned, the particular solution that was used, the humidity outside, etc., so it's important tofollow your technician's advice on this. However, generally, you should wait between 2 and 8 hours for your carpet to completely dry. Walking on wet carpet is generally all right; however, wet carpet will attract more dirt and get soiled quicker than a dry carpet would.
I bought this carpet for its stain resistance. Will having my carpet cleaned remove this stain resistance/protectant?
The heat of the hot-water extraction tools we use is not hot enough to remove your carpet's stain resistance or protectant. If your carpet is more than 5 years old, it is advisable to apply more resistance/protectant to your carpet after the standard cleaning, as the original resistance may be compromised over time.
How often should we be vacuuming our carpet?
You should be vacuuming your carpet at least once a week, depending on the traffic it receives, or if you have pets and children. If you have pets and children, you should try to vacuum twice a week to remove pet hair and dander, and keep your floors healthy for your children.
The tile in our bathroom looks fine, but the grout has turned a grayish color. Can you help us?
Certainly. We will professionally steam clean your grout to return it to its original color for you. We can also seal your tile and grout to prevent the quick return of the graying color.
Our wood floors have lost the luster that they had when they were first installed. What can we do?
We can come to your house, and professionally clean your wood floors, restoring the glow that they had when they were first installed. Wood is porous, and naturally allows dirt and oil to penetrate it. With our system, we will remove the embedded dirt and oil, without harming the natural finish of your wood floors.
